Product License

Last updated July 2026

This license covers how you may use products bought from The Boring Digital. An individual product may add to or change these terms in its own included license file, and that file wins if there is a conflict.

You may

  • Use the product for personal and commercial projects, such as releasing music you make with our plugins.
  • Install it on machines you own or control, for your own use.
  • Keep and re-download your purchased version for as long as you like.

You may not

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, share, or give away the product files themselves.
  • Repackage the product, in whole or in part, as a competing product.
  • Remove copyright notices or claim the product as your own original work.

Ownership

You own your license to use the product. The Boring Digital keeps all intellectual property rights in the product itself. Any code we release under an open source license (noted per product, for example MIT) is governed by that license.
